Finished putting it together yesterday. The first cut of the Trailer was roughly 3 minutes and 11 seconds! It was definitely a bit too long! My 2nd edit pass at the trailer came in at 2 minutes and 40 seconds, which is about average for a films full trailer.
Today I looked at the trailer again, having had a few hours away from it and I realized that a slight re-arranging of certain scenes in the trailer will make it way better than it is now. So I’m going to get started on that and begin scoring the trailer with Dorian.
It’s a tough balancing act trying to finish the film and figure out ways to get the word out there at the same time. I’m still struggling to balance both, in the end I can only hope for the best.
